Fundraising Ideas for Elephant Haven

Below are some ideas for easy to organise fundraising events that you may like to hold yourself. If you have any other ideas please get in touch, we may add your idea to our list!

• Organise a party, a coffee morning/cake event, a spaghetti evening or a wine tasting... for the benefit of Elephant Haven.

• Singers, comedians, actors, bands who want to perform for free may like to organise an event.

• Hold a jumbo (jumble) sale, garage sale, arts and crafts fair, combine this with selling cookies, pies, soaps … or our wristbands.

• Sponsored events (bike ride, zumbathons, serious runs, fun runs, walks, line dancing, dance-athons, sing-athons, sponsored swim), get a group together, get your sponsors and donate to Elephant Haven.

• Sporting matches: cricket, football, rounders, garden games, indoor games, outdoor games, kayak, paintballing.

• Film night, food night, quiz night, murder mystery dinner any night of the week.

• Fancy dress party, fashion show, karaoke night, musical evening.

• Sponsored car wash, treasure hunt, organised plant sale.

• Organise donation tins in your area, and collect the proceeds quarterly on behalf of Elephant Haven.

• Birthday! ask for a donation to Elephant Haven rather than presents.

• Tombola’s

• If you are on a group or family holiday, ideal time to organise a big BBQ or beach party.

• Businesses are not excluded, you might organise a teambuilding event to raise money for EH.
